If you are looking for something fun and different to do on the weekends, have you thought about going to see some of the wildlife? There are plenty of places near by that raise and take care of different types of animals. Scherman-Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary has beautiful birds, deer and foxes. Valley Shepherd Creamery is a European-style sheep farm. IF you are looking for something a little more on the tame side you can always head to the Morris Museum where all animals are photographed or stuffed by a taxidermy to preserve their features for viewers.
