Morristown’s ‘Festival Of Books’ Is Approaching

As posted by Patch.com, in its 11th year, the Festival of Books is coming back to Morristown soon, and organizers just announced the lineup of impressive authors who will attend.

This year’s festival will take place on Oct. 10 and Oct. 11 in downtown Morristown. The event, which began in 2014, will once again feature more than 100 authors, several book vendors, and more.

Kicking off the festival is the Keynote Event on Oct. 10, featuring two-time Pulitzer Prize–winning historian Rick Atkinson. At the Mayo Performing Arts Center, Atkinson will discuss his latest bestseller — “The Fate of the Day: The War for America, Fort Ticonderoga to Charleston, 1777-1780.”

Tickets for the Keynote Event are available online here or can be purchased over the phone by calling 973-539-8008. Tickets cost $60 and include a signed copy of Atkinson’s book.

The following day, Oct. 11, will be free for all participants. More than 60 authors will be attending.
