According to tapinto.net, mark your calendar for Grow it Green’s Alfresco at the Farm. The free Family Festival will take place on Saturday September 20 from 3pm – 6pm.
The event puts an urban twist on a country fair, providing fun farm games and crafts for the whole family! Children can move through farm education stations to explore bees, plants, seeds, and more.
There will be eats and treats from Millie’s Old World Pizza & Meatballs and other local establishments. Live music from Ruby West and Brian Thomas Baxter will fill the farm with great tunes as guests enjoy field games, face painting, flower crown making, educational farm stations, and more.
This year’s festival will honor Ms. Kristine Halasz, of Alfred Vail Elementary School, as the 2025 Grow it Green Classroom Cultivator of the Year.
Come celebrate the best of the season and support Grow it Green’s mission to educate the community about nurturing the land and sustainability! This event is free thanks to Barclays.
