Thousands Gather for Morristown’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade

As reported by TAPinto Morristown, downtown Morristown was filled with green on Saturday as thousands of spectators came out for the 2026 Morris County St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Stepping off at noon, the parade brought together marching bands, pipe and drum groups, Irish dance schools, first responders, community organizations, and local businesses for a festive procession through the heart of town.

Families lined South Street to celebrate Irish heritage and enjoy the music, pageantry, and community spirit that define this annual tradition. Leading the parade was Grand Marshal Michael G. Bannon, joined by community leaders, veterans groups, and organizations from across Morris County and beyond.

Throughout the afternoon, performers, dancers, and musicians helped transform Morristown’s streets into a vibrant celebration of Irish culture and local pride.
