Morristown is set to host Morris County’s 32nd annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade this Saturday. The Parade will begin at noon on South Street near City Hall. For those looking to get a jump on the festivities, many taverns and bars are reporting they will open at 8 a.m. Each has a different time, so call your favorite watering hole to confirm when they’ll start serving.
Expected are between 20 and 25 bands and more than 100 other organizations including fire departments, ambulance squads, Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts and other nonprofit groups. John Butler will be serving as this year’s Grand Marshal.
For additional information, check the official website. If you plan on driving, be sure to double check road closings and parking regulations.
Let’s hope the weather holds up for a dry and warm day!
