Census 2010: 22,000 More People in Morris County Than a Decade Ago

Morris County is New Jersey’s 10th most populous county, under 2010 Census data released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau.

The county grew by 4.7 percent, picking up more than 22,000 people since 2000.

There were 492,276 people living in the county in 2010, according to the release, which offers the first information on population counts, racial makeup, Hispanic origin, voting age population and housing status for communities to come out of the 2010 Census.
