When Rich Alexander runs the Chicago Marathon for the fourth time this October, the Morristown firefighter will be doing it for a cause.
The 46-year old Morris Township resident is raising funds and awareness for the International Association of Fire Fighters Burn Foundation. The non-profit was established in 1982, Alexander said, and raises money for burn treatment, prevention and awareness. They also provide grants for burn research, he said.
