How do you get a group of high-schoolers to collapse in fit of laughter? Ask them to do a read-through of An Absolute Turkey, the Delbarton Abbey Players fall play, on stage in the Fine Arts Center Theater from November 7 – 9.
Delbarton performers and visiting thespians from area schools will present evening performances on Friday and Saturday night at 7:30pm, and a matinee performance on Sunday at 2:00pm. Tickets are on sale now. Adults $10 / Students & Seniors $5.

The play is adapted by Nicki Frei and Peter Hall from French playwright Georges Feydeau’s Le Dindon, and is an acutely funny translation by Hall and Frei. The playwright Feydeau, a master of farce, employs a full suite of dramatic tricks to manipulate his characters back and forth to a surrealistic melange of complications.
