Morristown officials approved 7-Eleven’s relocation efforts. The Planning Board unanimously voted May 27, 2021, in favor of building the convenience store at Morris and Pine Streets.
Hours of hearings took place at Planning Board meetings from February through April.
“I really do want to thank the applicant for working very closely with the town,” Board Chair Joseph Stanley said. “It may seem arduous but I think that it’s resulted in a much nicer product and I wish you many, many years of success in Morristown.”
The site for the new 7-Eleven currently has an Exxon station. Stanley thanked 7-Eleven for its efforts in negotiations.
