Colonial Comedy Returns to Morristown Masonic Center for Monthly Stand-Up Show

Colonial Comedy is hosting its monthly stand-up comedy show at the Morristown Masonic Center on Friday, August 14, from 8 to 10 p.m. The show takes place one block off South Street at 39 Maple Avenue.

The event is BYOB, with guests welcome to bring their own beer or wine, though only those 21 and older may drink; all ages are permitted to attend. Doors open at 7:25 p.m. and the show starts around 8 p.m., running about an hour and 25 minutes. Those arriving after 8:15 p.m. risk losing their seat to a walk in. The lineup draws comics who have performed at clubs including Rhino Comedy Club, the Dojo of Comedy, Stress Factory, and Helium Comedy Club, with past acts spanning more than a dozen performers from the regional comedy circuit. Organizers note the content includes adult material and that guests are welcome to stick around after the show.

Tickets are $15, with the first 10 sold at a discounted $12. Nearby parking is available at the Dehart Street Garage, about a block away; the lot next to the Masonic Center is reserved for a separate venue and will charge extra.
