The Morristown Jazz and Blues Festival will take place on Saturday, August 15, on the Green in Morristown. Thanks to sponsor support, the event remains free and open to fans of all ages, with organizers encouraging attendees to bring lawn chairs and picnics or grab something to eat from nearby local businesses.

Music kicks off at noon with the James Langton New York All Star Big Band, a swing ensemble featuring clarinetist Dan Levinson and vocalist Molly Ryan. That opening set runs from noon until 1:30, with additional performers rounding out the lineup throughout the afternoon.

The festival has become a summer fixture in Morristown, drawing crowds to the town center for a full day of live music in an outdoor setting.
