Morristown Youth Group Helps Build Habitat House

A group of 24 Morristown youth headed to Matthews, NC last week to help build a house for a couple who arrived in United States in 2001 seeking political asylum from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The group, part of the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship, spent one week helping build the house and set the roof for the couple and their children. The structure is a Matthews LEED Habitat Home, which means it is designed to be more energy efficient and should help save the family on their heating and cooling costs.
