Allegra and Company in New Providence is assisting in collecting food for the Community Soup Kitchen of Morristown and would love your help!
Since 1984, the Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center has served a hot noon-time meal, 365 days a year, never missing a day! We serve as many as 300 men, women, and children a day. Our Outreach Center helps connect guests to community resources, services and programs.
The Community Soup Kitchen and Outreach Center will be distributing Thanksgiving baskets to the homeless, working poor families and elderly in Morris County. Each “basket” should be packed in a sturdy brown bag and contain:
1 Stuffing Mix
1 Canned Vegetable
1 Cranberry Sauce
1 Canned Gravy
1 Boxed Mashed Potatoes
1 All in One Dessert Kit
2 Canned Hearty Soups
1 Salad Dressing
2 Canned Fruit
Please bring any and all of the above items. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated!
In addition, you can donate a grocery store gift card so that our guests can purchase fresh produce and perishable items for their holiday meal.
