Aaron Weinstein has visited the Bickford Jazz Showcase several times before, but in the company of Bucky Pizzarelli and others who were the recognized headliners. He’s managed to charm the audiences there with both his torrid violin playing and his amusing off the cuff remarks, such that a date of his own is well deserved.
Violinist Aaron Weinstein and pianist Jon Weber will team up for a duet evening at the Bickford, attached to the landmark Morris Museum in Morristown. Their visit on Monday evening, Feb. 27, gives both players a chance to “stretch out” using the two jazz instruments with the greatest range.
These unique weeknight concerts run from 8 to 9:30 p.m. without an intermission, so fans get a full performance yet arrive home in time to prepare for work or school the next day. Tickets are best purchased by phone in advance by calling the box office at 973-971 3706. Credit cards are accepted. Those unfamiliar with the hall may request that a “jazz map” be sent. Tickets are a modest $15 in advance, but they go to $18 that night… assuming seats are still available! READ MORE AT NJ.COM >>>>
