Chancery Square gets a makeover in Morristown

Chancery Square in Morristown is getting a makeover, and town officials like what they see so far.

“The building is beautiful. It is a wonderful addition to Morristown,”  Mayor Tim Doughertysaid at a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week.

Hartz Mountain Industries, owners of the luxury apartment building at 11 Cattano Ave., have teamed with the Roseland Property Company, the people behind the 40 Park and Vail Mansion luxury condos, to renovate Chancery Square.

“We have completed 28 units thus far and we have only owned the building since August 2011,” said Allen J. Magrini, senior vice president of Hartz Mountain Industries. The upgrades are expected to be completed within a year.
