Best known for his appearance on Bravo’s hit reality TV series Top Chef in 2008, Chef Fabio has also owned restaurants and nightclubs in Los Angeles, Chicago and Florence, and is currently working on opening a new location in Miami. In 2010, he returned to Bravo to compete in their Top Chef All Stars edition and a spinoff culinary reality show, Life After Top Chef.
Chef Fabio is the author of two successful cookbooks, the first Café Firenze Cookbook, and his latest release, New York Times Best-Seller Fabio’s Italian Kitchen.His next cookbook, Fabio’s American Home Kitchen will be released October 21, 2014. Viviani regularly shares recipes with his fans through his online magazine, “Fabio’s Magazine” Rounding out the Fabio Viviani brand, he offers elite restaurant consulting through his partnership in DineAmic Group.
Formally trained in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine at IPSSAR Saffi, Viviani has worked with culinary luminaries such as Simone Mugnaini, Alessandro Panzani and Saverio Carmagini, to name just a few.
