The Madison Storytellers Festival’s inaugural event will take place on June 11, 2016 in Madison, New Jersey.
This free event features more than twenty sessions and workshops, ten musical performances and open mics throughout the day.
The festival’s four stages, dubbed Madison’s ‘Culture Corner,’ will be at the Green Village Road RR Trestle (between Main St. and Kings Rd.), Short Stories Bookshop & Community Hub (23 Main St. at Green Village Rd.), Museum of Early Trades & Crafts (9 Main St.), and Drip Coffee (34 Main St).
The event begins at 9:00 a.m. with sessions and workshops all day, and music and open mic continuing into the early evening.
Storytelling is the expression of who we are, who we were, and who we hope to be. It encompasses both experience and identity, and is what brings us together as a culture.
