SNOWSHOE SUNDAYS AT PYRAMID MOUNTAIN

Sundays, January 21 through March 11.

Ages 10 & Up.

Enjoy an afternoon of guided snowshoeing and trekking through the winter landscape. Look for signs of wildlife, and view beautiful scenery – all while getting a great workout! No experience necessary.

If you already know how to snowshoe or want to venture out on your own, there are various sizes, including children’s, available for one-day rental and use at Pyramid Mountain NHA. You must be 18 years or older to rent shoes. Shoes can be rented between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., and must be returned between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. the same day.

  1 p.m. if renting shoes, 1:30 p.m. if using your own.

  Pyramid Mountain, 472 Boonton Avenue, Montville Township (Intersection of Mars Court and Boonton Avenue).

  $5 per person for trek, $15 for trek and snowshoe rental.
